How to Use CresQR

1. Enter plain text or a valid HTTP / HTTPS URL in the input field.
2. Unsafe or malicious links are automatically blocked.
   Examples of blocked links include:
   • URL shorteners (bit.ly, tinyurl, etc.)
   • IP-based links (e.g. 192.168.x.x)
   • Suspicious domains or phishing-style URLs
   • Invalid or non‑HTTP protocols
3. Scripts, code snippets, and injection attempts are not allowed.
   Inputs containing HTML, JavaScript, or executable code will be blocked automatically.
4. Select a theme for your QR code.
   • Default works best for most use cases
   • Custom Theme lets you choose foreground & background colors
5. ⚠️ Avoid using black background with white foreground.
   QR codes rely on dark (1) modules on a light (0) background. Reversing this (white on black) breaks scanning for many devices.
6. Upload a logo (optional). For best scan reliability:
   • Use PNG format
   • Keep the logo background transparent
   • Remove any solid background behind the logo
7. Keep the logo size small — about 20–30% of the QR width. Larger logos can block essential QR data.
8. Choose logo shape: Circle usually scans better than square.
9. Always preview and scan-test the QR code before downloading or sharing.
10. Download your QR code in PNG, JPG, or SVG formats for high quality output.

Tip: High contrast, light backgrounds, and small logos produce the most reliable QR scans.
